Manmeet "Meeta" Pannu is a Senior Scientist at the Orange County Water District since January 2020, focusing on the design and execution of complex water quality experiments and applied research to enhance operational and regulatory objectives. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Specialist at the Washington Department of Ecology, where expertise in emerging contaminants, particularly PFAS, was developed, and as a Research Consultant at Central Washington University, providing biosolids consulting services. Meeta also worked as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at both the University of Washington and the University of Florida, where research involved soil emissions and biosolids reuse. Education includes a Ph.D. in Soil and Water Science from the University of Florida and a Master’s in Environmental Soil Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
