David Rooney currently serves as the Manager of the Clerk of the Board Department at Orange County Comptroller since September 2023. Prior to this role, David worked as a Mapper at Attorneys' Title Fund Services, LLC from September 2022 to August 2023. David’s earlier experience includes positions at Orange County Comptroller from December 2013 to August 2022, serving as Assistant Comptroller of the Records Administration Division and OR Manager. David also held the title of Division Chief of Official Records at Miami-Dade Clerk of the Court and Comptroller from December 2008 to November 2013, and directed Residential Real Estate at Miami-Dade County Office of the Property Appraiser from June 1984 to November 2008. David Rooney holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Technology from Florida International University, obtained between 1980 and 1983.
