Tessa Siolo-Thompson possesses extensive experience in professional development and leadership within the education and sporting sectors. Currently serving as the Professional Development Manager - Delivery at Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children since 2017, Tessa previously held multiple roles, including Senior Advisor at both Oranga Tamariki and Child, Youth and Family, where responsibilities included learning, capability, and development. Tessa's commitment to development is further showcased as the President of the Wellington Regional Volleyball Association and through previous leadership at Skills Active Organisation. Tessa has expertise in adult education as demonstrated in roles at Learning State Ltd and Upskill New Zealand Ltd, complemented by foundational experience in HR and learning at The Warehouse Ltd. Tessa is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education & Professional Development at Victoria University of Wellington.
