Omer BarNir is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and software quality assurance. Currently serving as Program Management Director for MySQL Engineering at Oracle Corporation since February 2002, Omer has previously held roles as Software QA Architect at MySQL Inc., Sun Microsystems, and Oracle Corporation. Prior experience includes positions as Sr QA Manager and Sr Software QA - Lead Engineer at Annuncio, and as QA Manager as well as Sr QA Engineer at Plexus Software. Omer began a career in QA as a Support Engineer at Trendline - Information Systems. Academic qualifications include an M.B.A. in Information Systems from Golden Gate University, a B.Sc in Statistics from Tel Aviv University, and a certificate in Software Engineering & Management from the University of California Extension, Santa Cruz.
