Steven Perkins has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Steven is currently the Director of Technical Support, Software at Oqton since January 2022. Prior to that, they spent over a decade at 3D Systems Corporation, where they held various positions including Director of Technical Support, Software, and Director of Customer Services, Americas. Steven was responsible for implementing Salesforce Case/Ticket Management and Knowledge Management systems, as well as merging and unifying support teams from different acquisitions. Before joining 3D Systems Corporation, Steven worked at 3D Systems Geomagic as a Technical Support Manager and Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. Steven led a global technical support team and served as the QA lead for Geomagic Studio products. Additionally, they worked at Kimley-Horn as a Senior CAD Designer, managing AutoCAD support company-wide, and at Dewberry as a Network Administrator and Senior CAD Designer, overseeing IT support and implementing the transition from board drafting to AutoCAD. Earlier in their career, they worked as a CAD Designer/ Draftsman at Southeastern Engineering, where they played a key role in transitioning from board drafting to AutoCAD. Steven Perkins attended PennWest Edinboro from 1985 to 1988, where they studied Communication Graphics and Art. Steven then graduated from Union City Area High School in 1985 with a High School Diploma, focusing on College Prep. In 1999, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification from Knowledge Alliance, specializing in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and additional qualifications such as Comptia A+, Net+. Furthermore, in June 1999, they also received the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. Steven Perkins pursued further education in 2005 at Al Neumann Tech, completing a course titled "Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing." In 2007, they attended Capital Associated Industries (CAI) and obtained a certification in the Fundamentals of Management. Most recently, in 2017, they completed a coaching program titled "Coaching for Peak Performance" at Development Dimensions International (DDI).
