Peter Lester began their professional career in 2003 as a Systems Analyst at MG Rover, where they worked on development projects and performed various tasks such as software testing, writing specifications, problem-solving, and data administration.

In 2006, they joined 4Projects as a Graduate Developer, contributing to the development of their new generation product using .Net and gaining expertise in SQL Server and T-SQL.

From 2008 to 2011, Peter worked at The Salamander Organization as a Developer and later as a Solution Architect. In these roles, they rapidly developed business systems and enterprise architecture solutions, collaborated with consultants and clients, and was responsible for project delivery and technical specifications.

At StarCompliance, Peter worked as a UI Developer and later as a Senior Developer from 2011 to 2014. Peter played a key role in developing user interfaces and worked on various software development projects.

From 2014 to 2017, Peter held multiple roles at Anaplan, starting as a JavaScript Application Developer and advancing to Senior Javascript Application Developer and eventually Senior Full Stack Developer.

In 2017, Peter joined VIMANA as a Contract Full Stack Developer, where they worked on a project to deliver a real-time data analytics dashboard using ReactJS, FlowType, and NodeJS.

In 2019, Peter worked as a Contract Full Stack Developer at Medicspot, utilizing JavaScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.

In the same year, they also began working at Round Hill Capital as a Contract Software Consultant, where they conducted a consultancy service for Nido, a student property management company, by analyzing systems, gathering requirements, and proposing a future architecture and strategy.

Most recently, Peter joined Oqton, Inc in 2022 as a Full Stack Developer, specializing in JavaScript/Typescript, ReactJS, and NodeJS. Peter successfully delivered a configurable dashboarding system for viewing real-time data and progressed to additional small projects.

Peter Lester attended Northumbria University from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in Computing For Business, with a focus on Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD) in Microsoft .Net in August 2007. Peter further obtained the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in Microsoft .Net Framework 4 Web Applications in September 2012. Finally, they achieved the Microsoft Certified Software Developer (MCSD) Web Applications certification in December 2013.
