Carlos Del Carpio is a seasoned professional in the residential mortgage industry with over 10 years of experience. Currently serving as a Senior Mortgage Underwriter at Opus Capital Markets Consultants, LLC since December 2014, Carlos possesses extensive knowledge of mortgage and compliance laws and regulations. Prior experience includes a role as a Mortgage Underwriter at CoreLogic Inc. from December 2010 to November 2014 and as a Mortgage Loan Officer at Tropical Financial Credit Union from March 2007 to December 2010, where responsibilities included originating residential loans and ensuring compliance with company guidelines. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Economics from San Diego State University and completed high school at Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt in Lima, Peru.
