Mitch Barns is the current CEO at Opus Agency. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of The Opus Group, Zappi, and The Stable. Mitch also has experience as a growth catalyst partner and as an adviser for Second Half Advisers. From April 2016 to June 2018, Barns served on the board of directors for Monsanto Company. From January 2014 to December 2018, they were the CEO and a member of the board of directors for Nielsen. During their time at Nielsen, Barns also served as the president of global client service and US media business. Prior to their work at Nielsen, Barns worked as a brand manager and marketing researcher for Procter & Gamble from January 1985 to December 1997.
Mitch Barns has a BS from Miami University and a degree from the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
