Michael Centeno is a banking and financial crimes risk management professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a BSA Officer and Head of Financial Crimes Risk Management at Optus Bank since May 2022, Michael has also worked as an Independent Consultant for ROBERT HALF INTL INC and AML RightSource. Prior to these roles, Michael held senior positions at Equitable as Senior Director and Deputy BSA Officer, and at Protiviti as Senior Consulting Manager. Michael's career began at Wells Fargo, where positions included Senior Financial Crimes Consultant and BSA/FIU Analyst. Michael holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management and a B.A. in Asian American Studies from San Francisco State University.
