Tara Siân Hayes is an experienced HR leader currently serving as Vice President of the People Team at Optum since September 2024. Tara's extensive background includes a position as Senior Director of People Business Partner at eBay, where strategic direction for global employee support was provided from October 2016 to October 2021. Previously, Tara held roles with Etsy, eBay, VeriSign, and Xilinx, accumulating a wealth of experience in HR strategy, organizational design, and people engagement across various regions. Tara holds a BA in Business Studies with First Class Honours from Dublin City University and completed certifications at the Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Marketing Institute of Ireland.
