Christopher Woodard has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Christopher started their career with the US Navy as a Deep Sea Diver from 1987 to 1993. Christopher then transitioned to work as an IT Help Desk professional at Young Life in 1997. Following this, they joined Northrop Grumman Corporation in 1997 and held various roles such as Software Developer, Software Engineer, Software Dev Manager, Dev Team Lead, and Site Support Analyst until 2016. During their tenure, they made significant contributions to winning a $100 million, 10-year enhancement and support contract, earned trust and satisfaction from multiple customers, and led a team for 20 on-time version releases with a high pass rate.
In 2017, Christopher joined Camira (USA) as a Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on the development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of Department of Defense enterprise applications. Christopher displayed expertise in designing relational database schema, writing T-SQL, and coding business logic using C# and the .NET framework.
Currently, Christopher works at OptTek Systems, Inc. as a Sr. Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include writing TypeScript with React and Java for the OptDef web application, using PostgreSQL. Additionally, they write Java and Python for the OptDef desktop application to support government solutions. Their exceptional performance led to their appointment as a Technical Lead at OptTek.
Christopher Woodard attended Colorado Technical University from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Management Information Systems, General. In addition, they obtained a Private Pilot certification in April 2006, with a Fixed Wing, Single-Engine, Land Rating, from the Federal Aviation Administration.
