Markus Keil is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in global operations and semiconductor manufacturing. Currently serving as Vice President Global Operations and General Manager at Optotune since September 2021, Markus leads initiatives in optical MEMS and systems. Markus has held notable roles such as Vice President Global Operations at NextLens, Co-Chairman of the advisory board for International Semiconductor Executive Summits, and advisory board member at DataProphet. Previous positions include Vice President of Global Semiconductor Operations at Littelfuse, CEO and President at HSEB Dresden GmbH, and various leadership roles at GLOBALFOUNDRIES and AMD, where substantial contributions were made to business transformation and greenfield startup projects. Markus holds a Dipl. Ing. in Applied Physics from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.
