Oliver Knörzer's work experience includes serving as the Sales Director for Continental Europe & Director of Optos GmbH at Optos since 2016. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Manager Surgical at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. from 2007 to 2015, and as a Product Manager Surgical at the same company from 2005 to 2006. From 2000 to 2004, they held the position of Director of Marketing & Sales at BioTissue Technologies. Oliver also worked as a Hospital Representative for Wound Healing/Diabetes at Janssen-Cilag GmbH from 1999 to 2000, and as a Sales Representative for Vaccines at Pasteur Merieux MSD GmbH from 1998 to 1999. Oliver started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Konstanz from 1993 to 1998.

Oliver Knörzer began their education at the University of Konstanz in 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Oliver successfully completed their studies in 1992, earning a Master's degree (Diplom Biologe) in Biology. Afterward, Oliver continued their academic journey at the University of Konstanz and undertook postgraduate studies in Biology. From 1993 to 1997, they dedicated their time to their research in the field, culminating in the successful completion of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biology.
