Jed Prentice has extensive experience in the field of software engineering. Jed started their career as a Software Developer at PLATINUM Technology in 1997. After that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Olympus Group, where they were responsible for leading development teams and implementing software projects in Java. In 2002, Jed joined Phase2 as a Software Architect, where they took on the responsibility of technical architecture, implementation, delivery, and operation of software projects while also mentoring and coaching developers. Jed spent a significant amount of time coding during this role. Jed then moved to Optoro in 2014, starting as a Senior Lead Engineer and eventually transitioning into the role of Principal Engineer. At Optoro, they led cross-functional teams and contributed to the technical architecture of core applications. Jed also spent a significant amount of time coding, working on prototypes, special projects, and taking prototypes to production. With their expertise and experience, Jed has proven himself as a skilled and dedicated professional in the software engineering field.

Jed Prentice earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
