J. Carlos Merino has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. J. Carlos started their career in the US Navy as a Corpsman 8404, where they provided medical care and established medical facilities. J. Carlos then served as a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard. Following their military service, they worked as a CSAR Technician/Remote Site Medic for the US Government/Contract, where they provided search and rescue and medical support overseas. J. Carlos transitioned to the private sector, working as a Tactical/Military Sales Manager for Edge Tactical Eyewear and as a Mission Projects Lead/Business Development/Sales Lead for Beyond Clothing. J. Carlos also worked as a TACMED Instructor/Customer Development/Program Development professional for a private company. More recently, they held positions as the Director of Business Development for HUXWRX Safety Co. and OKSI. Additionally, they founded MILSUPS, a veteran-owned business focused on physical and mental fitness through nutrition and education.
J. Carlos Merino began their education in 1999 at the Naval School of Health Sciences, where they completed the NAVMED Corpsman Course, specializing in Emergency/Field/Austere Medicine. J. Carlos continued their education at Utah Valley University from 2010 to 2013, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Management, which is still ongoing.
