Joel Shick is an experienced Client Director for the Midwest region at Optiv, a company specializing in comprehensive cybersecurity programs. Since joining Optiv in June 2021, Joel has leveraged a deep understanding of client needs to enhance business progress through strategic advisory and managed security services. Prior to Optiv, Joel held multiple roles at Venafi over nearly a decade, including Account Executive across various regions and Sr Manager of Strategic Initiatives. Joel’s earlier career includes significant positions in the Government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia, as well as a role as a Technical Advisor at Asia Pacific Immigration Consulting. Joel Shick earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Simon Fraser University between 1994 and 1998.
