Akash Khelkar is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in production and operations across various roles in the broadcast industry. Currently serving as the VP of Global Operations & Special Projects at Option 1 Event Services since October 2022, Akash also founded Khelkar Brothers Production Pvt. Ltd. in 2012, focusing on broadcast media creation and production. Previous positions include Director of Production & Operations at Option 1 Event Services and Asst. Vice President of Production at ZEE Entertainment, where a career spanning over three decades has included significant contributions as an executive producer, director, and cameraman for multiple production companies. Akash holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Amravati University.
