Hugo Escobar is an experienced professional with a background in video editing and operations. Currently serving as an Assistant Editor at Optimus since June 2021, Hugo has also worked as a Freelance Video Editor for Away At Space Camp Productions since November 2014. Previous roles include Operations Assistant/Lead and Debrief Specialist at Amazon Logistics from October 2018 to August 2020, as well as Shift Manager at Los 4 Hermanos Restaurant from June 2017 to November 2019. Hugo's leadership experience includes serving as President of the Interfraternity Council at Eastern Illinois University from November 2016 to April 2018 and as Concert Coordinator for the University Board from April 2015 to September 2017. Hugo holds a degree in Political Science with a focus on Pre-Law Studies and Criminology from Eastern Illinois University, where studies were completed from 2014 to 2018.
