Sam Goodell has extensive experience in sports media research, currently serving as Associate Research Director and previously as Research Supervisor and Research Analyst at Optimum Sports since November 2016. Prior to this, Sam held various roles at Mid-Lakes Navigation, managing guest services during cruises, and was an Intramural Sports Commissioner at Gettysburg College, overseeing sporting events and handling medical issues. A Planning Intern at the Transportation Management Association of Chester County, Sam supported public-private transportation cooperation. Earlier research experience includes work with Dr. Charles Driscoll on green roofs and a position as Service Cashier at Johnny Angel's Restaurant. Notably, Sam received three-time "Counselor of the Year" recognition while managing peer counselors at Skaneateles Country Club. Sam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, with a double major in Environmental Studies and Public Policy from Gettysburg College.
