Pravin Amalraj is a Development Engineer at OPTIMIZED GAS TREATING, INC. since February 2023, specializing in gas separation processes. Prior to this role, Pravin completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Carolina, where significant research involved the simulation and operation of Temperature Vacuum Swing Adsorption (TVSA) for CO2 removal in collaboration with NASA. Pravin possesses experience in process development for natural gas upgrading, measurement and testing of sorbent properties, and the design of experimental setups for gas separation applications. Additional expertise includes process design training at Chemsys Process Engineering Pvt. Ltd. and a research internship focused on solar energy applications in leather drying at the Central Leather Research Institute. Pravin also contributed to undergraduate chemistry education as a Graduate Instructional Assistant. Education credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina and St. Joseph's College Of Engineering, respectively.
