Rory W. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Rory started their career as a Desktop Publishing Operator at Birkenhead Press LTD, where they handled DTP, typesetting, and finishing work for magazines and books. After that, they worked as a Graphic Designer at SMILING WOLF LIMITED, gaining experience in print, web, and environmental design. Rory then moved on to Lime Pictures, where they served as a Production Graphic Designer for popular TV shows like "Grange Hill" and "Hollyoaks Let Loose."
Following their stint at Lime Pictures, Rory joined Prague College as a Senior Lecturer, teaching BTEC HND Graphic Design & Interactive media to international students. Rory then worked at The Walt Disney Company as a Marketing Delivery Manager, managing a design team and overseeing marketing output for Disney Mobile Games Studio and The Walt Disney Internet Group.
In 2014, Rory joined Mustard Prague as a Digital Strategist, leading digital and media strategy, data analysis, storytelling, copywriting, and new business development. Rory continued in a similar role at Optimist Inc. in 2019, where they focused on digital and social media strategy, data analysis, data storytelling, copywriting, and new business development.
Throughout their career, Rory has also provided freelance consulting for brand strategy and digital strategy to global creative agencies and international brands through their company, RAWCUT.
Rory W. attended Ravensbourne University London from 1998 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Interaction Design combined with Fine Art from Liverpool Hope University. Prior to that, Rory W. attended Blacon Arts College from 1996 to 1998 and earned an HND in Media Production.
In addition to their formal education, Rory W. has obtained several certifications. This includes "The fundamentals of digital marketing" from Google Digital Garage in October 2020, "Advanced Google Analytics" from Google in October 2019, "Facebook Blueprint" from Facebook in March 2016, "Twitter Flight School 2015" from Twitter in October 2015, "YouTube Digital Citizenship" from Google in January 2014, "NFFF - Imperial Fryer of Fish" from the National Federation Of Fish Fryers in June 2013, "Apple Pro Certified Final Cut Pro" from Apple Inc. in February 2010, "Google Analytics for Power Users" from Google in October 2019, and "YouTube Music Certification" from YouTube in December 2020.
