Matthew Slipper has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and industries.

Matthew'smost recent position is as the Head of Engineering at OP Labs since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Program Manager at OP Labs from November 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining OP Labs, Matthew was an Engineering Manager at Invisible AI from July 2020 to November 2021.

Matthew also had a role as an Advisor and Co-Founder at Kyokan, a software consultancy specializing in building blockchain applications, from December 2017 to July 2020.

Prior to that, they co-founded Spectrum Labs in December 2016 and led a team of engineers and data science advisors. They successfully implemented and deployed Spectrum's machine learning technology.

Matthew gained experience as a Software Engineer at Wealthfront Inc. from October 2016 to March 2017, where they led a team in developing the Portfolio Line of Credit and implemented core product flows and logic for Wealthfront's Selling Plan.

Matthew also worked as a Lead Software Engineer - Front End at Symphony - Secure Seamless Communication from July 2012 to September 2016. Matthew'sresponsibilities included architecting and building a secure communication web application, overseeing the migration to a modern React/Redux stack, and implementing encryption and security libraries.

Matthew's earlier experience includes being a Contingent Worker at Goldman Sachs from April 2014 to March 2015, where they worked on migrating Goldman's proprietary LiveCurrent application to Symphony and implementing financial-services focused features.

Matthew started their career as an Independent Consultant, providing consulting services in designing and implementing online billing and personnel management systems using Ruby on Rails and Postgres, and developing a social practice logging tool for golf professionals from January 2008 to April 2014.

Matthew Slipper attended Palo Alto High School from 2008 to 2012. After graduating from high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree at UC Santa Barbara from 2012 to 2014. During their time at UC Santa Barbara, Matthew studied Economics and Chinese Language, completing a Double B.A. in these fields of study.
