Vijaya Deshpande has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Vijaya is currently serving as the Head of Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Acquisition at Optime-Tech LLC since September 2020. Their role involves leading diversity and inclusion efforts and creating inclusive environments. Vijaya is also aspiring to serve on steering teams to advance sustainability, social impact, and diversity inclusion in the future workplace.

Prior to this, Vijaya worked as a Success Partner at Link Success, an online social and professional community, from January 2017 onwards. Vijaya was actively involved in creating a collaborative community that aimed to share success mantras, professional expertise, and learning experiences.

In 2020, Vijaya briefly served as the State President of CIMSME/ICTMAE for Women Entrepreneurship & Empowerment in Maharashtra at the Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

From 2011 to 2016, they held the position of Director at Conscript, and from January to September 2011, they worked as the Vice President at Gilbert Tweed Associates Pvt. Ltd. Prior to that, they were a Managing Consultant at Korn/Ferry Futurestep from 2007 to 2011.

Vijaya's career began in 2000 when they worked as the AGM HR at HCC Infotech Ltd. Vijaya later served as the AGM at Naukri.com from 2004 to 2007. In 1999, they held the position of Sr Manager HR at Orient Information Technology Ltd. in Bangalore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Mumbai.

Throughout their career, Vijaya has demonstrated their passion for creating inclusive environments, connecting people, and making a positive impact on individuals and organizations.

Vijaya Deshpande obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Law from the University of Mumbai, studying from 1987 to 1990.
