Thierry Picard currently serves as the Head of Trading at Optimax Energy GmbH, a position held since August 2018, and also fulfills the roles of Power Trader and Finance Manager. Prior to this, Thierry Picard was self-employed during a parental leave period from October 2017 to August 2018, while simultaneously learning German. From June 2015 to August 2017, Thierry Picard worked as a Credit Analyst at Allianz Trade, where responsibilities included monitoring a portfolio of risks, holding meetings with CEOs and CFOs, collecting and analyzing financial information, and assessing credit risk. Thierry Picard began the career as a Credit Analyst intern at Allianz Trade. Academic credentials include a Specialised Graduate Diploma in Financial Professions with a focus on Corporate Finance and Market Finance from HEC Montréal (2014-2015), and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Banking, Corporate Finance, and Securities Law from HEC Montréal (2010-2013), along with an international exchange at HEC Lausanne in 2012.
