Arnab Ghosh has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Arnab is currently serving as the Co-Founder of Optimatik, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Snap Inc. from March 2022 to May 2023.
Arnab's professional journey began in 2021 when they started working as a Graduate Software Engineer at Arm, where they remained until March 2022. Before that, they pursued their education at the University of Oxford as a Graduate Student from January 2017 to January 2021.
Arnab also gained research experience through internships at Adobe in 2019 and 2018, where they worked as a Research Intern for three months each. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Technical University of Munich for two months in 2017. Arnab has further research experience as a Research Engineer at WeCP - We Create Problems for a short period in late 2016.
Furthermore, Arnab served as a Research Assistant at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago (TTIC) from May 2016 to October 2016. Arnab kick-started their career in research during their undergraduate years at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. As a student there from June 2012 to April 2016, they were actively involved in Undergraduate Research in the Computer Science Department. Arnab focused on Machine Learning and Deep Learning, and their projects included developing a new parallel algorithm for the Boolean Satisfiability problem. Arnab also participated in the SIGML (Special Interest Group in Machine Learning) and the Deep Learning Reading Group during their time at IIT Kanpur.
Arnab Ghosh completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, between 2012 and 2016. Arnab then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the University of Oxford from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in "Machine Learning" from Coursera in September 2014 and "Body Language for Leaders" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
