Community and Events Marketing Manager at Optimal Workshop

Sarah Paxton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sarah currently works at Optimal Workshop as a Community and Events Marketing Manager, where they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Special Events and Campaign Manager at Optimal Workshop from June 2020 to October 2021. Sarah also has experience as a Conference Organizer at UX New Zealand since June 2020. Before that, they worked as an Event/Project Manager at Event Agency from March 2019 to November 2019.

Sarah's previous experiences include working as a Special Events and Annual Giving Manager at Children's Institute, Inc. (CII) from March 2017 to February 2019, where they managed various programs and services for vulnerable children and families. Sarah also served as a Development and Events Coordinator at United Friends of the Children from October 2015 to March 2017, and as a Development Assistant from January 2014 to October 2015.

Additionally, Sarah gained valuable experience as a Blue Zones Project: Marketing & Policy Intern at Healthways from September 2013 to December 2013, where they focused on promoting health and wellness initiatives. Sarah also worked as an Administrative & Office Assistant at HBRA Architects from November 2012 to September 2013.

Sarah's earliest work experience includes an internship as an Intern Case Manager & Parliament Aide at the British Parliament under Paul Burstow from August 2009 to June 2010.

Sarah Paxton completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Clark University in 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Government and International Relations from the same institution in 2011. In 2010, they briefly attended the University of Stirling, where they studied Political Science and Government as well as Marketing and Communication, though no degree was specified.
