Penny Montgomery is a Medical Director at Optimal Clinical Trials, a phase Ib-IV medical research unit in Auckland, New Zealand, since 2013. Prior to this role, Penny served as a General Practitioner at Freemans Bay Medical Centre from May 2012 to April 2021, following the completion of GP training in various practices in Wellington and becoming a fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2010. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Otago, earned between February 1997 and November 2002.
