Alvaro Iriarte Sanderson serves as the Regional Director for the South Cone at Optibus since April 2021. Prior to this role, Alvaro owned AIS CONSULTORES from August 2019 to April 2021 and acted as an Expert Advisor in Public Transport Technology for the United Nations Development Programme from March 2018 to August 2019. Alvaro has extensive experience in business management roles at CITYMOVIL and Cityplanning, focusing on the Latin America & Caribbean markets, along with a background in senior business executive positions. Alvaro's academic qualifications include an MBA from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas and a degree in Civil Engineering with a Management Mention from Universidad del Bío Bío, complemented by coaching certification from the International Institute of Coaching.
