Dr. Mohammed Talha's work experience includes roles as a Research Engineer (Simulation Lead) at Opteran since July 2021 and as a Research Associate at the Extreme Robotics Lab from July 2018 to July 2021. Prior to these positions, they worked at the University of Birmingham, 3i Technologies as a Human Factors for Nuclear Robotics Project Manager from October 2011 to July 2018. In this role, they led a research project with the nuclear industry, conducted user research, developed and evaluated camera concepts and computer vision algorithms, and generated data-driven design recommendations. Some of their work has been published in prestigious journals and conferences.

From 2008 to 2011, they attended the University of Birmingham and earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence.
In 2011, they pursued further studies at the University of Birmingham and completed an EngD (Engineering Doctorate) in Robotics for Nuclear Decommissioning in 2018.
Dr. Mohammed also attended The University of Manchester from 2011 to 2013 and obtained a Diploma in Enterprise Management.
In addition to their formal education, Dr. Mohammed Talha has obtained several certifications. Dr. Mohammed completed a Self-Driving Car Engineer certification from Udacity in May 2021. In September 2019, they obtained multiple certifications through DataCamp, including Big Data Fundamentals via PySpark, Intro to SQL for Data Science, Introduction to Data Visualization with Python, Introduction to Relational Databases in SQL, Statistical Thinking in Python, Supervised Learning with Scikit-learn, pandas Foundations, Cleaning Data in Python, Importing Data in Python, and Python Data Science Toolbox. Dr. Mohammed also completed a Data Science for Managers certification from DataCamp in August 2018.
