Jill Weaver is an experienced Photonics Engineer at Optalysys since October 2019, with a prior role as a Physicist at York Instruments Ltd from October 2016 to September 2019. Jill has also worked as a Systems Design Engineer at Nanometrics from 2011 to 2014 and served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Leeds from 2008 to 2011, focusing on GMR sensing of domain walls in magnetic nanowires. Additionally, Jill was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Sheffield in 2008, where the work involved magnetic nanowire sensors for automotive applications. Jill holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Experimental Physics, both obtained from the University of York.
