Mark Donovan has extensive experience in the technology and engineering industry. Mark is currently serving as the Vice President of Advanced Optics at Opsys Technologies, where they oversee the development and commercialization of state-of-the-art LiDAR technology for ADAS and autonomous vehicles. Prior to Opsys Technologies, Mark held various senior positions at Finisar Corporation, including Vice President of Optical Assemblies, Senior Director of OSA Development, and Engineering Director of Operations. Mark also worked as the Head/Media Engineer at Quantum and as an Engineering Manager at Read-Rite Corporation. Mark began their career as an Engineer at Electric Boat.

Mark Donovan has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, which they obtained between 1985 and 1989. Following that, they pursued further education and completed their master's and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, between 1990 and 1995.
