Armin Ziaie Tabari, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Currently, they serve as a Technical Product Manager at OPSWAT since 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Security Researcher at OPSWAT from 2021 to 2023. Armin also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida from 2017 to 2021, where they successfully defended their Ph.D. dissertation and received their Ph.D. Additionally, they have experience as a Co-Teacher at the University of South Florida from 2017 to 2021. Armin also worked as a Security Software Developer Research Intern at Impulse Point, which was later acquired by OPSWAT, from 2019 to 2019. Armin served as the Chief Executive Officer at Number4Studio from 2015 to 2017. Furthermore, they worked at Informatics Services Corporation in multiple roles, including Senior Security Consulting Engineer from 2014 to 2016, Junior Security Consulting Engineer from 2012 to 2014, and Application Security Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Their earlier experience includes working as a Junior Security Consulting Engineer at SAMAN ERTEBAT TADBIR from 2010 to 2011. Armin's expertise lies in security research, product management, teaching, software development, and consulting.

Armin Ziaie Tabari, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from the University of South Florida, completing their studies from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2011, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Iran University of Science and Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Armin Ziaie Tabari holds several certifications in various fields. Armin obtained Red Hat Linux Certification (LPIC 1 - LPIC 2 - Security) from Informatics Services Corporation in August 2014. In December 2013, they received PCI DSS v3 certification from NIS ICT.

Armin Ziaie Tabari also possesses certifications in windows server security, ethical hacking, and computer forensic analysis. Armin obtained the Windows Server 2008 Security Certification from Informatics Services Corporation in December 2012. In November 2012, they became a Core Impact Certified Professional through Core Security, and in May 2012, they earned the Certified Ethical Hacker certification from Sharif University of Technology. In September 2013, they studied Advanced Computer Forensic Analysis and Incident Response at the SANS Institute.

Additionally, Armin Ziaie Tabari has obtained several certifications related to data security and metaaccess through OPSWAT Academy and OPSWAT. Armin received the OPSWAT Data-Transfer Security Associate Certification and OPSWAT File Security Associate Certification in December 2021, and the OPSWAT Certified MetaAccess Associate certification in May 2021.
