Tristan Aubrey-Jones has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Tristan is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at ITRS Opsview since June 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Freelance Software Developer at Jellyfish Pictures from March 2019 to June 2019, where they developed tools for their VFX and animation pipelines.

Tristan also served as a Technical Lead at BluPoint Ltd from August 2015 to September 2018. In this role, they spearheaded the development of innovative technology and managed the development team. Tristan was responsible for delivering curated information and targeted communications to people in remote areas using mobile technology.

Furthermore, Tristan worked as a Visiting Fellow at the University of Southampton from January 2018 to August 2018, contributing to a Global Challenges Research Fund project. Their primary role involved supervising a researcher working on mobile distributed database and web technologies for community-based prosthetic and orthotic services.

Before that, they were a Research Fellow and a PhD student at the University of Southampton from February 2015 to August 2015 and from October 2010 to June 2015 respectively. During this time, they engaged in research and academic activities in the fields of engineering, computer science, and electronics.

Tristan started their career as a Junior Developer at Opsera from July 2009 to October 2010, where they gained initial experience in software development. Tristan also worked as an Engineering Intern at Sophos from July 2008 to September 2008, where they researched and prototyped new features for future products on the Advanced Development Team.

Tristan Aubrey-Jones holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, which was obtained from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended The Henley College from 2003 to 2005, and Chiltern Edge School from 1998 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Tristan has also obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Masterâ„¢ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in October 2019.
