David Rueter is the founder and president of OpsStream. David has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including stints as the VP of Technology Architecture at buy.com and CIO/VP of Technology at NASBA.
At buy.com, David was responsible for strategic and tactical technology architecture planning for the entire company. David developed a plan to reduce data center costs by nearly $1 million annually and improved fixed asset management. David also participated in architectural decisions regarding the implementation of third-party solutions such as Vignette content management and E.Piphany CRM. David left buy.com when management changed in early 2001.
At NASBA, David was responsible for technology due diligence pertaining to an acquisition, designing and managing the organization's overall technology including web site member database management systems, and overseeing the company's e-mail marketing services it provided to sponsors. David was also involved in the formation of NASBA. David left NASBA in 2004 to start OpsStream.
