Martin Phillips has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Martin started their career as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in 1987 and worked there until 1993. Martin then joined Aventis Behring as VP of Clinical R&D from 1997 to 2004. Following that, they served as the Chief Medical Officer at Morphotek, Inc. from 2004 to 2012. In 2014, they became a Senior Medical Advisor at Atterocor. Phillips also has experience as an independent physician, executive, and entrepreneur since 1982.
In addition to their corporate roles, Phillips has also served as an Advisor at Integral Molecular and an Advisory Board Member at Context Therapeutics, both in 2015. Martin also played a significant role at Philabundance, where they were a Member of the Board of Directors and Vice Chair from 2008 to 2014. Philabundance is an organization dedicated to alleviating hunger in the Delaware Valley.
More recently, in 2013, Phillips founded Opsidio, LLC, where they currently hold the position of CEO.
Martin Phillips attended Cranbrook from 1969 to 1974. Martin then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Michigan from 1974 to 1978.
