Pitou Chen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. From 2021 onwards, they joined Opportunity Finance Network as a Senior Associate, focusing on loan operations. Prior to this, they worked for FINANTA (now Community First Fund) from 2013 to 2021, where they served as the Assistant Vice President of Accounting and Real Estate Manager. In this role, Pitou was responsible for managing financial systems, overseeing audits, and preparing grant reports.
Before that, Pitou worked as a Bookkeeper at Rodman Properties Management Inc. in 2011-2012, where they handled income statements, internal auditing, and accounts payable. Pitou also volunteered for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at Saint Joseph's University in early 2011.
In 2009-2010, Pitou had two roles. Pitou worked as a Supervisor of Guest Services at The Franklin Institute, where they managed and trained a large team for customer service tasks. Additionally, they served as an Administrative Assistant at the American Red Cross, where they were responsible for database management, scheduling, and inventory control.
Pitou Chen has a diverse educational background. They began their studies at the University of Management from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Management. Following this, Pitou attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania from 2004 to 2005, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in International Business. Later, from 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Post Baccalaureate degree in Accounting at Saint Joseph's University.
