Maggie Yang has worked in various companies and roles over the years. In 2022, they worked as a University of Calgary Tax Program Volunteer. In the same year, they also worked as a Sales Advisor for H&M until April 2023. Maggie started being a Student Volunteer and Orientation Leader for Leadership and Student Engagement, University of Calgary in September 2021 and continued until an unknown time. In 2023, Maggie worked for Wizeprep as a Marketing Representative, as a Vice President Marketing for ACT YYC starting March 2023, as a Community Outreach Lead for Future Majority starting April 2023, as a Brand Ambassador for Oppizi starting May 2023, and as a Social Media Marketing Internship in VFitter also in May 2023.

Maggie Yang completed their high school education at Henry Wise Wood High School from 2018 to 2021. Currently, from 2021 to 2025, they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, with a minor in Math+Statistics at the University of Calgary. Maggie has obtained various extracurricular certifications like Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED, Senior connect - Addictions, and professional certifications like Finance Foundations: Risk Management, How to Rock an Interview, and Mastering Communications as a Leader. Maggie has also completed Exam P from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries l Institut canadien des actuaires.
