Ryan Helwig serves as the Head of Operations and Senior Vice President at Oportun since April 2022, overseeing Sales, Service, Fraud, and Collections for 1.9 million members during a critical growth phase. Previously, Ryan held the position of Executive Vice President and Sales and Service Director at PNC from November 2015 to April 2022, contributing to one of the largest customer care operations in the U.S. Prior to that, Ryan worked at Citi from October 1996 to November 2015, where roles included Director of Customer Service Sales and Retention, Senior Vice President, focusing on large-scale contact center operations. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Texas and completed secondary education at Lake Travis High School.
