Balaji Shanmugam has extensive experience in software engineering and testing, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer, Test at Oportun since December 2022. Prior to this role, Balaji held various positions at Tech Mahindra from February 2013 to June 2023, including Senior Automation Engineer and Test Lead, managing a team of 14 and overseeing project activities for a client project with Lyondell Basell. Balaji's earlier experience includes roles as a Test Analyst at RBS and as an Associate at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where responsibilities included designing test scenarios, maintaining defect management, and preparing test reports. Balaji holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Anna University Chennai, completed in 2006.
