Michael Stienstra is a logistics professional with extensive experience in managing and coordinating logistics operations across various organizations. Currently serving as a logistics supervisor and coordinator at Ophtec since July 2019, Michael oversees daily logistics activities and leads a team of eight individuals. Previous roles include positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Patheon Biologics, where responsibilities encompassed compliance with cGMP regulations, processing incoming goods, inventory management, and improving supply chain processes. Michael's career also includes roles in customer service and courier services, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of logistics from multiple perspectives. Michael holds degrees in transport and logistics management and recently completed a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
