Dana Miletic has a long and varied career in operations, contracts, technical editing, graphic design, and writing. Dana began their professional career in 1988 as a Publications Assistant at the University Health Center at the University of Maryland at College Park. In 1992, they moved to The MayaTech Corporation as a Technical Editor/Graphic Designer where they managed the production, design, and editing of proposals, reports, manuals, scientific posters, and presentation documents. Dana also designed corporate marketing materials and served as a liaison between clients and vendors. In 1994, they joined Towers Perrin (now Towers Watson) as a Graphic Designer, responsible for creating and designing graphic documents for in-house and client needs. Dana then moved to United Information Systems in 1995 as a Technical Editor/Graphic Designer, providing design and publishing services for the company. In 1996, they joined Viavi Solutions (formerly JDSU) as a Self-Paced Training Developer/Designer and Senior Technical Editor/Senior Graphic Designer. In 2006, they began working for Frederick County Public Schools as an English Department Chair/High School English Teacher. Dana then moved to AstraZeneca/MedImmune in 2016 as a Safety, Health and Environment Compliance Administrator/Technical Writer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Ophirex, Inc. as an Operations & Contracts Administrator.
Dana Miletic obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature with General Honors and Senior Thesis from the University of Maryland between 1987 and 1991. In 2008, they obtained a Registered Advanced Placement English Teacher certification from The College Board in August. Dana also obtained an Advanced Professional Certificate, English 7-12 from the Maryland State Department of Education. In 2007, they began attending Frostburg State University and obtained a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2010.
