Michael E. York, PE, possesses extensive experience in mechanical engineering and product development, currently serving as Mechanical Engineering Manager for Warehouse Automation at OPEX Corporation since May 1989. With a history in various roles including Lead Mechanical Engineer for product development and Senior Staff Engineering for special projects, Michael has directed engineering and cross-functional activities for new product launches and managed teams of up to 25 engineers. Prior to OPEX, experience includes applying research for government clients at RCA Aerospace and Defense, where secret clearance was held. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Union College and a Master of Science in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a focus on New Product Development.
