Joe England is a highly experienced ornithologist currently serving as the Lead Ornithologist at Operation Wallacea since June 2018. Previous roles include Assistant Warden at Alderney Bird Observatory and various positions at RSPB, including Kingsbrook Research Assistant and Field Fundraiser. Joe began a career in ornithology with initial positions as a Lead Ornithologist and Assistant Warden at Alderney Bird Observatory. In addition to ornithological work, Joe has experience in interior decoration and landscaping. Joe holds a degree from the University of Kent, attended from 2013 to 2016, and completed secondary education at King Edward VI Grammar School from 2005 to 2012.
