Andre Surendre is an experienced professional in the field of biology and public health. Currently serving as an Assistant Herpetologist at Operation Wallacea since June 2022, Andre has a background that includes roles as a Scientific Analyst at the Ministry of Agriculture and Lead Volunteer at the Office for Undergraduate Research. Prior experience at Operation Wallacea also includes positions as a Junior Research Scientist and Undergraduate Research Assistant, where responsibilities involved conducting surveys and assisting in herpetological studies. Andre holds a Master of Public Health from Texila American University Consortium and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Guyana Berbice Campus, along with an Associate of Science in Biology from the University of Guyana.
