Peter Leone's work experience begins in 1979 when they joined Leone Industries as the Executive Vice President. Leone Industries is a family-owned manufacturer of glass bottles and jars. In 1986, they became the President of the company and held this position until 2012. During their time at Leone Industries, they managed a team of 350 employees and oversaw sales to food processors and liquor distillers in the United States and Canada.
In 2008, Peter joined the Glass Packaging Institute as a Trustee, a position they held until 2012. Peter then moved on to become the President of Ardagh Group's Glass, North America division in 2012, a role they held until 2013.
In 2011, Peter became a Trustee at The Baldwin School, an independent school for pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Peter also served as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees from 2014 to 2018 and as the Treasurer from 2012 to 2016.
Peter has also been involved in various nonprofit organizations. Peter served as a Trustee at Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center from 1999 to 2006 and as a Trustee at the Opera Philadelphia since 2012. In 2017, they became the Chairperson of the Board at Opera Philadelphia and held this position until June 2022.
Additionally, Peter was a Board Member at Malletech from 2017, a Member, Past Board Member, and Past President at Robin Hood Ventures since 2013, and a Board Member at ACME Cryogenics from 2013 to 2015.
From 2017 to 2020, Peter served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Harris Freeman & Co.
