Mitra M. Sadeghpour is an experienced professional in the field of music and education, currently serving as the Holland Community Fellowship Mentor at Opera Omaha since August 2021. Previous roles include Director of Education and Community Engagement at Minnesota Orchestra, Adjunct Assistant Professor at St. Olaf College, and Artist In Residence at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Mitra also held the interim position of Director of Artistic Administration at Charlottesville Opera and was the Education Director at Minnesota Opera. Additional leadership experience includes serving on the Board of Directors for the National Opera Association and as Vice President of Outreach for the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Music and Master of Music in Voice from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theatre/Dance from Luther College.
