Eric Nordelo has a wealth of experience in the blockchain, software development, and computer science fields. Eric began their career as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Havana in 2014. In 2019, they worked as a Blockchain Researcher, designing, building, and testing Smart Contracts with Solidity and the Truffle framework, as well as making a Dapp for managing lotteries. In 2020, they became a Salesforce Architect and Salesforce Developer at SwagUp, where they were a Team Leader and Apex Specialist, and made integrations using REST and SOAP APIs. In 2021, they worked as a Blockchain and Solidity Developer and Technical Lead at Privi, developing Smart Contracts with Solidity and using TDD with Mocha, Waffle, and Chai (Hardhat framework) for Unit and Integration Testing. In 2022, they began working as an Open Source Developer at OpenZeppelin, contributing to cairo-contracts and nile packages, and creating the nile-coverage package supporting coverage report for Cairo Smart Contracts. Eric also worked as a Blockchain Technical Advisor at Keyring Network and a Blockchain Architect and Solidity Developer at Plainspoken Digital, designing and building a Marketplace for vaulted graded cards represented by NFTs in the Polygon network.
Eric Nordelo obtained a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from the University of Havana between 2014 and 2019. From 2016 to 2017, they obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp in Computer Software Engineering. In June 2021, they obtained two additional certifications from Udemy, one in Ethereum and Solidity: The Complete Developer's Guide and the other in Master Modern Security and Cryptography by Coding in Python.
