Paul Sladen has extensive experience in software development and open-source initiatives, currently serving as a Core Developer and Design Engineer at Ubuntu since 2004, while also contributing to transport and underground tunnel mapping at the OpenStreetMap Foundation since 2006. As a Sole Proprietor of Nineteen Inch Networks since 2002, Paul has established a presence in the tech community, alongside involvement as a T-shirt designer and advocate for the Debian project since 2001. Paul briefly held the role of Senior Linux Architect at Sesca Mobile Oy in 2007 and previously worked as a Lighting and Sound Technician at Nottingham Arts Theatre from 1998 to 2003.
