OpenSponsorship is the largest digital marketplace making it easy for brands to partner with athletes. We have 10,000+ athletes across 160 sports (including over 50% of the NFL and NBA) and support clients like Anheuser Busch, Sperry, FanDuel, and CBS. We’re backed by VCs, 500 Startups, and Angel Investors like NBA All-Star Baron Davis.

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to grow our presence in the sports, marketing, and influencer industries around the world.

Who You are:

  • Comfortable working hands-on environment where infrastructure, processes, systems and work practices are still at various stages of implementation and refinement.
  • Excited to build out strategy for a growing company - overseeing overall advertising spend and return, lead marketing, team growth, etc.

What You’ll do:

  • Develop and executing the company-wide marketing strategy: setting goals, and implementing plans that prioritize across all areas of marketing
  • Create strategy for the following: CAC, LTV, Company Growth, Team Growth
  • Use a deep understanding of our product and customers to develop and execute campaigns that attract new leads and drive measurably deeper product adoption by existing users.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technology and Senior Leadership to infuse our brand voice and product into every marketing campaign, client touchpoint, and external or internal company communication or representation
  • Test and implement new processes and marketing channels based on detailed data analysis and ROI tracking and optimization.

Your qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as a marketing manager in an adtech, or martech environment, and B2B marketing. Bonus if this experience is also in a startup environment
  • Proven track record of increasing lead demand and driving product adoption
  • You've developed marketing strategies and tactics that put the customer first and understand to hit revenue goals at the same time
  • Experience with putting together strategy e.g. for FB/IG ads
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced experience in writing copy, ad feedback and approval
  • Management experience - Experience hitting and overseeing/supporting the team KPI’s - If freelancers/agencies - support them hitting success for the company.
  • Knowledge of selling to marketing title ideally, influencer marketing
  • Passionate about sports / athletes / influencer / sponsorship

Total Compensation Range: $100,000-120,000
