Szu-Ying Chen is a seasoned professional in user experience design and service design, currently serving as the Director of User Experience Design and UED Lead at OpenNet Limited since June 2019, where the focus is on sports online entertainment for a substantial user base in Africa. Prior to this role, Szu-Ying founded Factory NextGen, a social enterprise aimed at transforming small and medium manufacturing enterprises through innovative service design and technology. Experience includes stints as a Product Designer at Kika Tech, Inc., a Senior UI Designer at MSI - Micro-star International, and a Visual Designer at Gixia-Group, in addition to earlier roles in research and education. Szu-Ying holds a Master of Arts in Service Design from the Royal College of Art and a Master of Arts in Visual Communications from National Chiao Tung University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from National Taiwan Normal University. Achievements include coaching teams to accolades in poetry and school publications.
